Recipe ideas for the ENERGIZE MUFFIN Caramel Vanilla

Do it yourself – recipes for the new ENERGIZE MUFFINS

PowerBar® is celebrating 30th birthday this year. Therefore, we basically give a birthday cake to ourselves. In an earlier post we presented you with some tasty recipe ideas for the Chocolate muffins, today our nutritionist Tanja Rasputniac shares some more ideas for the Caramel Vanilla muffin mix:

Carrot-Muffins

What you need:

1 pouch ENERGIZE MUFFIN in the flavour Caramel Vanilla (1x 133g)

80ml water

1 carrot (approx. 70g) 

Baking instructions (for approx. 4-5 muffins):

Peel carrot and grate into small rasps. Put the carrot rasps on a kitchen paper towel for about 5 minutes in order to remove some of the moisture. Mix muffin baking mixture according to the instructions on the packaging. Add the carrot rasps to the muffin dough. Fill everything into the included muffin cups and bake for approx. 17 minutes at 180°C top and bottom heat in the oven or put them into the microwave for 40 seconds.

Caramel Vanilla Muffins with raspberries

What you need:

1 pouch ENERGIZE MUFFIN in the flavour Caramel Vanilla (1x 133g)

80ml water

9 fresh raspberries (depending on size approx. 40g)

Baking instructions (for approx. 4-5 muffins):

Mix muffin baking mixture according to the instructions on the packaging. Cut raspberries into half or quarters depending on size and add them to the muffin dough. Fill everything into the included muffin cups and bake for approx. 17 minutes at 180°C top and bottom heat in the oven or put them into the microwave for 40 seconds.

Caramel Vanilla Muffins with dried figs 

What you need:

1 pouch ENERGIZE MUFFIN in the flavour Caramel Vanilla (1x 133g)

80ml water

2 dried figs (depending on size approx. 15g)

Baking instructions (for approx. 4-5 muffins):

Mix muffin baking mixture according to the instructions on the packaging. Cut dried figs into small pieces and add them to the muffin dough. Fill everything into the included muffin cups and bake for approx. 17 minutes at 180°C top and bottom heat in the oven or put them into the microwave for 40 seconds.

Here are some useful tips to make sure that your muffins are a great success:

  • Muffins look especially nice if you use a muffin baking tray.
  • Smaller cut ingredients disperse more easily. Bigger pieces tend to drop to the bottom.
  • Please keep in mind that the best before date varies according to the ingredients you may add.
